Kailey Muir is a dedicated Texas criminal defense attorney committed to delivering clear answers, strategic guidance, and aggressive advocacy for individuals facing criminal charges. Serving clients across the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area, Kailey leverages her in-depth experience within the criminal justice system to protect her clients’ rights at every stage—from investigation through trial.
Kailey earned her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law, where she concentrated in criminal law. During law school, she developed strong trial advocacy skills through Mock Trial, active involvement in the Criminal Law Society, and hands-on defense work in the Actual Innocence Clinic. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, providing a solid academic foundation in criminal law and procedure.
Before becoming a criminal defense lawyer, Kailey gained valuable insider experience working within the system as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Tarrant County Criminal Courts and later in a Police Department Legal Division. This unique background gives her a strategic advantage—she understands how prosecutors build cases, how law enforcement gathers evidence, and where critical weaknesses often exist. Kailey uses this insight to identify procedural errors, challenge evidence, and develop strong, effective defense strategies for her clients.
As a DFW criminal defense lawyer, Kailey is known for her ability to anticipate the Texas State’s strategy and proactively defend against it. She carefully analyzes each case from investigation to trial, uncovering inconsistencies and leveraging every opportunity to secure the best possible outcome.
Kailey is committed to ensuring that every client feels informed, supported, and respected throughout the legal process. Whether handling misdemeanor or felony charges, she provides personalized representation focused on achieving results and protecting her clients’ futures.
Outside of her legal practice, Kailey is an avid reader and maintains a personal library of nearly 500 books.
